I would like to say how grateful I am to have won this award. My schooling is a huge part of my life right now and this bursary will help me get through the summer semester at Selkirk College in Castlegar BC.
I am so honored to be sharing this award with Paige. I am sure she wrote an amazing application and I am sure she deserved the award as much as I did.. I called my Mom right away as she works for the Smithers Branch and she was so excited and told everyone at her office. I am so honored to be part of such a great and supportive community like Smithers.
I started my schooling in August 2019 and I will be done in October 2021. I am at school to become a registered Pharmacy Technician under the college of Pharmacists of British Columbia. My school involves a lot of one on one patient care, chemotherapy compounding and IV compounding. I would like to work in a hospital one day so I can help cancer patients receive therapy. I am currently residing in Victoria BC, but i will be moving back to Smithers to continue my school online full-time this summer.
With this bursary I am one step closer to achieving my dream of becoming a Pharmacy Technician and I am so thankful I was given this opportunity. I know this was a hard decision and I am so grateful I was chosen.
Thank you so much for helping me achieve my dream career. I am so honored to have received this CUISA Bursary.
Yours Truly,
Delaney Elliott

Thank you for putting together a bursary each year to encourage and assist students with pursuing their education.

Appreciatively,
Paige Grice
